Teddy Bear Hospital and Everyday Uniformed Heroes!

Come and experience a teddy bear hospital, and meet everyday heroes at our big fire and rescue event!

At the teddy bear hospital run by the first aid volunteers from Gråsten, the whole family can take part in hands-on first aid activities: try CPR on baby and adult mannequins, learn how to use a defibrillator, and practice applying bandages – on yourself, each other, or on teddy bears and dolls.

You can also meet firefighters, paramedics, and police officers and chat with them about their exciting work. Don’t miss the skilled police dogs from the Danish Police Dog Association, Sønderborg branch, as they demonstrate impressive tracking skills. You can even help by hiding scent trails for the dogs to find – you’ll be amazed at how quickly they succeed, even when you make it challenging!

You can also learn how to put out a house fire and gain insight into the important work our emergency services carry out every day.

It’s guaranteed to be an action-packed day for all ages – we look forward to seeing you!
