Sunflower lanyard 🌻

The Sunflower Lanyard at Universe is a discreet aid for guests with hidden disabilities. By wearing the lanyard, you signal to our staff that you may need extra time, patience, or support during your visit. It helps us create a more inclusive and comfortable experience for all guests in the park.

Here’s what you need to know about the Sunflower Lanyard at Universe:

  • It’s voluntary. You decide whether or not to wear it.

  • It does not provide any VIP privileges.

  • You can get one at the Information Desk without any questions.

  • It simply tells others: “I could use a little extra consideration today.”

Wheelchair Rental
Wheelchairs (limited number) can be rented at the Information Desk.

Price: DKK 50 per day.

It is possible to reserve a wheelchair by sending an email to info@universe.dk – please include your name, date, and time of visit – or by calling us.

Visitors with disabilities pay the regular admission price. However, by presenting a valid companion card issued by the Danish Brugerservice, you may bring one companion (aged 18 or older) free of charge.

This also applies to official companion cards issued abroad.

Universe is wheelchair accessible, and it’s easy to get around most areas of the park and exhibition buildings.

Service dogs for the blind and physically disabled are welcome in Universe.

During school holidays, the park is typically less busy on weekends and most crowded on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Outside school holidays, Sundays are usually the quietest days.

If you need a calm area, there are several quieter spots in the park. Please ask our staff at the entrance for advice, as it may vary depending on the time of day.

You can request a Sunflower Lanyard at the Information Desk. This helps our staff recognize that you may need extra assistance.
